You can get summaries emailed to your email address.

Purpose and Goals:

The purpose of this feature is to automate the process of sending conversation summaries to users' email addresses after a call. This feature was developed to address the need for users to receive timely, concise, and actionable insights from their AI interactions without manually extracting or summarizing the conversation details. The main goals are to enhance user convenience, improve efficiency in post-call follow-ups, and ensure that users can keep a record of important conversations for future reference.

By allowing users to receive summaries via email, this feature solves the problem of manual tracking and documentation of conversations. Users no longer need to revisit the conversation logs within the AI platform; instead, they can easily access and review the summaries directly from their inbox. Additionally, it provides an organized way for users to manage their communication history, leading to better decision-making and follow-up actions.

Key Functions and Capabilities:

  1. Automated Summary Delivery: Once enabled, the AI automatically sends a summary of the conversation to the specified email address after each significant interaction. This saves users time and effort by eliminating the need to manually request or generate summaries.
  2. Customizable Email Settings: Users can customize the conditions under which the email summary is sent. They can choose between two options:
    1. Always: The summary is sent after every conversation.
    2. Only with Call Actions: The summary is sent only when specific actions occur during the call, such as a transfer event or an SMS exchange.
  3. Simple Setup: The feature can be easily activated in the "Post-call Automation" section of the AI Agent page by entering the appropriate API command: /api/email/summary?e=Your_Email&s=Email_Title. This ensures that users can quickly set up the automation without needing technical expertise.

  4. Email Title Customization: Users can specify the title of the email, allowing them to categorize and organize their summaries in a way that best suits their workflow. Add “%20” for a space in the email title
  5. Add additional questions in the Additional Summary Questions section to be also sent over in the summary email.

  1. Scenario 1 - Customer Support Manager: A customer support manager wants to ensure that all conversations with customers are documented for future reference. By enabling the "Always" option, they receive an email summary after every call, which they can forward to team members or archive for future use. This helps in maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and ensuring that no details are missed.
  2. Scenario 2 - Sales Representative: A sales representative primarily needs summaries for calls that result in important actions, such as transferring the call to another department or sending a follow-up SMS. By choosing the "Only with Call Actions" option, they receive summaries only for critical conversations, allowing them to focus on high-priority leads without being overwhelmed by unnecessary emails.
  3. Scenario 3 - Project Manager: A project manager frequently uses the AI to coordinate with team members. They set up the feature to receive summaries with a specific email title, such as "Weekly Project Updates," to keep track of discussions and decisions made during the week.   4. Scenario 4 - Consultant: A consultant working with multiple clients can customize the email title to include the client's name and receive a summary after every consultation call.
